I am still on holiday break but did want to send out the following warm message to all my readers and friends on a bitterly cold US-Midwestern Christmas Eve:

Your right-wing Tucker-watching Trump-approving feminism-hating white supremacist socialism-hating uncle/father/grandfather/brother/brother in law/friend of the family/neighbor/football coach thinks this extreme cold disproves the "radical left" notion of global warming. He's an ignorant jackass. It's the opposite. The extreme cold reflects the wandering polar vortexes created by the meandering jet streams produced by the warming Arctic brought to us by the climate change produced by his beloved capitalist system's lethal addiction to fossil fuels.

P.S. The "P"(entagon?)BS Newshour ended last night with a montage of US troops stationed at various overseas imperial outposts singing "What Child is This?" This after the inspid bourgeois commentators David Brooks and Jonathan Capehart had just spent five minutes noxiously telling Council on Foreign Relations member and “P”BS NewsHour host Judy Woodruff (thankfully in her final broadcast days) that Zelensky is “the embodiment of” the supposed “essence of who we" --- "we" meaning imperial America --- "are," by which they meant "democracy and freedom." Another report on the news divulged that the leading cause of death for US children is now homicide. You can't make this kind of shit up. Well, you can, but I didn't.
