For short while I lived up at Broadway & 108th, Dominicans & intellectuals up there mostly. But everybody. Street life excellent.
You get the best music in the clubs, the magic that gets created between the band and the club-goers. Concerts don't excite me, too loud & impersonal. But perfection comes out of the better studios, they take the time to work on the product before releasing it. Steely Dan's a good example.
So you got a whole universe of music in this one library. Every once in a while they drop a good one. Like you can no longer find Babs Gonzales & Ray Nance, on You've Changed. And the best thing Pura Fe ever did (local girl) got removed for unknown reasons. But here's the second best thing she did:
