Introduction by desmond: The Israel-First faction of the U.S. ruling class is now reaping the harvest of 60 years of sloppy and dishonest weapons development and acquisition. As detailed in Item 1)., “China's New Mach 4.9 ….”, the Chinese (among other nations) have developed new weapons systems designed to defeat the U.S. Aircraft Carrier forces and other aerial military forces. The Chinese, the most capable of the other nations developing weaponry, began by studying the wreckage of the F-117, shot down in 1999 over Serbia, and among other things they reverse engineered the radar deflecting coating on that plane {that process was discussed in an earlier article in the same series as Item 1).}. In an enhanced and continuing process the Chinese continued to study the U.S. use of Aircraft Carriers and worked on countermeasures to defeat the American weapons systems of all types. The Aircraft Carriers were seen as the most vulnerable, and at the same time one of the most pivotal military forces in the U.S. lineup. In a one-two punch a new Chinese radar and their own version of GPS {The BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) }, like US GPS it is a satellite based information and graphics service that can show forces on the ground.

Among other things the new technologies that have already been sold to the Iranians is able to easily see American F-35s (previously not visible on radars the Iranians possessed). The main advantage the F-35s had was their stealthy ability to operate without being detected, otherwise the F-35 is not a particularly good aircraft. Then there is the issue of the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford, not only has that Aircraft Carrier been out for 8 months with a crew needing rest and the ship needing some repairs and maintenance; BUT as reported in various media outlets the toilets on the Ford do not work properly and its plumbing system needs an occassional heavy-duty acid wash. This situation is discusssed in Item 2)., “Stanislav Krapivnik: ….”; the Ford docked in at Souda Bay, in Crete, for that needed treatment.

That is not the only problem the massive ship with many new systems has had. The most important is the fact that there was considerable trouble with the new Electro-Magnetic catapaults. Up until the launching of the Gerald R. Ford the U.S. Navy's carriers all used steam catapaults, not as versatile as the Electro-Magnetic catapaults, well-understood and extremely reliable. Item 2). reports that the catapaults are not working at all, it that is accurate then; and only F-35Bs of the variety used by the Marines and that have Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) capabilities can use the Gerald R. Ford. Neither the F-18s, nor the Growlers, nor the Hawkeye surveillance planes can use the Gerald R. Ford. In addition to the F-35Bs helicopters and V-22 Ospreys can use the ship, but not being able to use the F-18s, Growlers, or the Hawkeyes mostly negates the value of the Gerald R. Ford.

The fact is that the U.S. decision to send a large number of military assets to the seas around Iran is a decision in which Israel-Firsters, Extreme Zionists, and Israelis play a prominent role in that process if not entirely directing it. In Item 3)., “Max Blumenthal: ….” the intrepid journalist from The Gray Zone discusses these issues. Notably in Item 4)., “US Prepares for Next War ….”, Brian Berletic argues that Israel is completely a tool of the U.S. Ruling Class, and is used by the U.S. rather than manipulating or directing them.

General discussion of the problems inherent in attacking Iran are contained in Item 5).,“Col. Larry Wilkerson: ….”; Item 6)., “Is War With Iran Inevitable? ….”; Item 7)., “Trump boxed in: ….”, and Item 8)., “Larry C. Johnson: ….”, all discuss various aspects of the difficulties that face the U.S. in attacking or even invading Iran. This is one of the largest potential wars the U.S. has faced in decades, Iran is far larger, more socially cohesive, more advanced technologically, and far rougher in terms of terrain with mountain ranges riddled with caves. According to some reports fully half the U.S. Airforce is committed to this operation; with the combat aircraft and the logistical support planes and refueling tankers already in the areas.

Then there are two aircraft carriers, out of a total of 11 such ships in the U.S. Navy, that are assigned to the task of providing supplementary air cover. If the problems that Item 2 reports with the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford are real; then why aren't any of the other 9 U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers assigned to this task. All we hear are bland statements that 8 of the Aircraft Carriers are undergoing repairs, while there was a report that some sort of problem prevented the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush from taking on this assignment. It is worth pointing out that of the 10 Nimitz class U.S. Super Aircraft Carriers, the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln is the 6^th oldest. Newer ships include the USS George H.W. Bush, commissioned in 2009, the USS Ronald Reagan, commissioned in 2003, the USS Harry S. Truman, commissioned in 1998, the USS John C. Stennis, commissioned in 1995, and the USS George Washington, commissioned in 1992, are all younger ships than the USS Abraham Lincoln, that was commissioned in 1989. It is not believable that 73% of the much vaunted Super Aircraft Carriers are all undergoing massive repairs and cannot be used operationally.

Finally Item 9)., “ ‘Epstein & Mossad Link ….”, contains, at about 5 minutes into the podcast, an assertion, in a mainstream Indian media outlet, that there is a serious question of if Trump is being manipulated by Mossad agents, that have incriminating video evidence of Trump in sexual acts with under age girls. Plenty of people and posters on the internet are not shy in pointing out that Trump, and his DOJ, are obviously hiding some sort of horrible issue. But the Hindustan Times is a major Corporate Controlled Media outlet.
