This speaker discusses the future of Venezuela's oil reserves. Who will control them, who will possibly invest the billions of dollars necessary and have the patience and vision to keep working in Venezuela for the 5 or so years needed to rehabilitate the oil extraction infrastructure to be able to produce and export 4 to 5 million barrels a day. China has grown to become the major trading partner of most Latin American countries. The Venezuelan Oil situation is a last opportunity for the U.S. Ruling Class to maintain strong economic relationships with much of Latin America. Well argued.
