Introduction by dmorista: The Epstein Files and the endless maneuvering, by a wide variety of officials and journalists, to protect the rich and powerful men involved; while callously ignoring and even intentionally exposing the women, is pretty ugly and shows the real face of the U.S. and allied ruling classes. Even so a few honest people made all the difference in bringing these crimes to light 29 years after the first young woman courageously contacted and informed the FBI about what was going on. The FBI, whatever the feelings of individual agents, buried the information and it did not really come to light until a couple of years ago.
The analysis of this article points out that this is part of a general looting of U.S. society as far-right operatives grab everything they can get their hands on before the gravy train quits running. It points out the ruthless action, announced by Trump to begin seizing money from former students who have defaulted on their student loans, all while rich people regularly default on debts to the government or operate in protective bubbles in which they are never required to pay back loans and other financial gains. The sheer class difference in how people are treated has never been more obvious than it is now.

No doubt the people who post these videos/podcasts have calculated that they would attract a far larger audience if Prof. Mearsheimer's image and his voice was associated with the website. I think the analysis offered is good enough, that I think this material is worth posting here at The Class Struggle
