Introduction by desmond morista: The incredible coddling of convicted sex-trafficker Ghislane Maxwell, and the political strategy of the Government Shut-down, are totally intertwined. These two articles in two of the best known Corporate Controlled Media outlets demonstrate that. Both articles discussed the extremely unusual treatment Maxwell has enjoyed after her transfer to the minimum security Federal Prison Camp at Bryan, Texas. Item 1)., “Whistleblower docs ….” points out that:

“ 'What information is Ms. Maxwell agreeing to suppress in order to receive such outlandishly favorable treatment as a federal prisoner and convicted sex offender?' Raskin wrote in a Sunday letter to Trump reviewed by The Hill. ….

The Bryan prison camp has provided her with a: “ '.... special cordoned off area for visitors to arrive, as well as an assortment of snacks and refreshments for her guests.' Her guests have also been allowed to bring computers, which is something not typically allowed for visitors.

“Maxwell was also taken by escorts to the prison gym outside of normal hours, allowing her to work out alone. Democrats allege she was also 'allowed to enjoy recreation time in staff-only areas.'

“An inmate who trains service dogs was also instructed to give Maxwell time with one of the puppies ….

“And finally, the information given to the panel relayed that Maxwell would have associates 'email documents directly to the Warden' of Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, allowing Maxwell to bypass the paper mail system. Raskin accused the warden, Tanisha Hall, of 'directly helping Ms. Maxwell copy, print, and send documents related to' her commutation request. (Emphasis added)

“This top-flight luxury service has reached such a point of absurdity that one of the top officials at the prison has complained that he is 'sick of having to be Maxwell’s b—-,' Raskin wrote.

“You should not grant any form of clemency to this convicted and unrepentant sex offender. Your Administration should not be providing her with room service, with puppies to play with, with federal law enforcement officials waiting on her every need, or with any special treatment or institutional privilege at all. It is indisputable that the order to treat Ms. Maxwell as an honored guest, rather than a federal prisoner, has come from the highest levels.” (Emphasis added)

In addition to the very unusual way in which Maxwell has been treated, Item 1 notes that the Government Shut Down has affected the political actions of the Republicans in this way as well:

“Democrats and some Republican lawmakers have also pushed for a discharge petition to require the Justice Department to release all documents related to the Epstein files.

“However, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has refused to seat newly elected Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.), leaving the group one vote short of the total needed to force a vote on the matter.”

One can only wonder just what it would take to outrage and motivate the mass of Americans to reject this regime. Many journalists have worked to expose the venality, criminality, and the hideousness of the attitudes and actions of the rulers, wielded against the working people of the U.S. Dancing and dining at the “Great Gatsby” Gala while working to deny poor children, the elderly and the working poor food assistance; giving $20 Billion directly and another $20 Billion through the IMF to Argentina to save its right-wing president Javier Milei and to save pals of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent from taking a bath after investing in Argentine currency and debt, and ignoring the sales of Argentine Soy Beans to China while American Soy Bean Farmers lose long-time markets (90% of whom were Trump supporters); ending all kinds of public healthcare research and vaccine development while the worst measles outbreak in decades is raging; defunding Planned Parenthood while lavishing a $4 Trillion tax cut for the rich, and so on and so on. And these are just 4 of a long list of cutbacks that are ending even the limited and tepid actions of the U.S. Federal Government to sustain the operation of a modern society. The election results from a few days ago are evidence that some people are waking up to the danger we are all in.

The Hill

Documents provided by a whistleblower show Ghislaine Maxwell has asked President Trump to commute her sentence as prison employees suggest she has received “concierge-style treatment” at a new facility where she is being given custom meals and access to staff facilities.

The request, revealed to House Judiciary Democrats, comes after Maxwell was transferred to a lower-security prison after she sat for two days of questions with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche amid increasing scrutiny of Trump’s relationship with the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The documents also show Maxwell has received unusual perks within the prison system since she was transferred out of a maximum-security facility in Tallahassee, Fla., with one Bureau of Prisons employee complaining they were “sick of having to be Maxwell’s b–ch.”

Among the documents is an Oct. 5 email appearing to be from Maxwell to one of her attorneys noting she is organizing a “commutation application.”

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the top Democrat on the panel, said the email shows “either that Ms. Maxwell is herself requesting you release her from her 20-year prison sentence for her role as a co-conspirator in Jeffrey Epstein’s international child sex trafficking ring, or that this child sex predator now holds such tremendous sway in the second Trump Administration that you and your DOJ will follow her clemency recommendations.”

Maxwell was sentenced in 2021 on child sex trafficking charges, while her close associate Epstein killed himself in 2019 while awaiting trial on related charges.

Maxwell has maintained her innocence and has made it clear she would like a pardon from Trump, something several GOP voices have advised against. While congressional committees have sought Maxwell’s testimony, she has said she would not appear without a pardon or immunity agreement.

At the same time, she agreed to speak with Blanche, though Democrats have cried foul over her subsequent prison transfer.

A transcript of Maxwell’s interview with Blanche yielded few bombshells, but Democrats have accused her of repeating false claims and withholding information. They have also since released evidence of something Trump denied existed — showing the birthday note the president wrote to Epstein that referenced the two men having “certain things in common.”

“What information is Ms. Maxwell agreeing to suppress in order to receive such outlandishly favorable treatment as a federal prisoner and convicted sex offender?” Raskin wrote in a Sunday letter to Trump reviewed by The Hill.

The information provided to the committee alleges a series of remarkable steps taken to accommodate Maxwell after she was quietly transferred to a medium-security facility in Texas shortly after her meeting with Blanche.

According to the documents, Maxwell has been receiving customized meals that have been personally delivered to her cell.

They also describe unusual treatment of her guests, with Democrats relaying the creation of a “special cordoned off area for visitors to arrive, as well as an assortment of snacks and refreshments for her guests.” Her guests have also been allowed to bring computers, which is something not typically allowed for visitors.

Maxwell was also taken by escorts to the prison gym outside of normal hours, allowing her to work out alone. Democrats allege she was also “allowed to enjoy recreation time in staff-only areas.”

An inmate who trains service dogs was also instructed to give Maxwell time with one of the puppies, even though the dogs are not supposed to be pet during training.

And finally, the information given to the panel relayed that Maxwell would have associates “email documents directly to the Warden” of Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, allowing Maxwell to bypass the paper mail system. Raskin accused the warden, Tanisha Hall, of “directly helping Ms. Maxwell copy, print, and send documents related to” her commutation request.

“This top-flight luxury service has reached such a point of absurdity that one of the top officials at the prison has complained that he is ‘sick of having to be Maxwell’s b—-,’” Raskin wrote.

Maxwell as an honored guest, rather than a federal prisoner, has come from the highest levels.”

The letter demands testimony from Blanche, but it is unlikely he would be forced to appear without pressure from the panel’s Republicans.

The White House, the Bureau of Prisons, and Maxwell’s attorney have all not responded to requests for comment.

The Supreme Court last month declined to take up Maxwell’s appeal of her conviction.

Meanwhile, in Congress, there has been some bipartisan pressure to reveal more about the Epstein saga.

The House Oversight Committee has done several depositions related to the matter and has reviewed some documents shared by the Justice Department.

Democrats and some Republican lawmakers have also pushed for a discharge petition to require the Justice Department to release all documents related to the Epstein files.

However, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has refused to seat newly elected Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.), leaving the group one vote short of the total needed to force a vote on the matter.

Ghislaine Maxwell to seek commutation, document indicates

She added, “More coming to replace others..hopefully it will all make sense.”

The Supreme Court has already rejected Maxwell’s appeal to her conviction, meaning Trump’s pardon could be her only clear means to escape her decadeslong sentence. The president has not ruled out granting her a pardon.

Even years after Epstein’s apparent suicide behind bars in 2019, the case has presented a political quagmire for the GOP, given Trump’s relationship with the disgraced financier (Trump has said the two had a falling out years ago).

Democrats, meanwhile, have sought to stoke division within Trump’s base by arguing his administration has reneged on a promise for transparency in the case.

In July, Maxwell sat for a prolonged two-day interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, in which she extolled the president and said she had never seen him in an inappropriate setting. She also claimed to have “never, ever [seen] any man doing something inappropriate with a woman of any age” during the interview, although a host of evidence has supported her role in Epstein’s schemes.

Shortly afterward, Maxwell was transferred from a Florida low-security prison to a Texas prison camp. Democrats have argued she has received special treatment since she began cooperating with the administration’s renewed review of the case.
