. We’re doing a deep dive into today’s topic: Forced WCN religious indoctrination for welfare assistance as outlined in Project 2025.
Last year, I spent a lot of time writing about how Project 2025 planned to turn the United States into a Christian Nationalist theocracy. Nowhere is it more apparent than with the cessation of SNAP, followed closely by the destruction of USAID earlier this year.
Christian Nationalists want to force ALL public aid to be provided by approved WCN organizations, paid for with YOUR tax dollars.
Think I’m exaggerating?
Project 2025 mentions the words “religious,” “religion,” “faith,” and “faith-based” almost 200 times. A good number of those drops revolve around allowing religious or faith-based groups to provide public aid with taxpayer funding.
Here’s a breakdown of how P2025 envisioned providing family education and support, and I cite an established WCN program funded by Florida taxpayers as a potential model.
Here’s an example of a local Wisconsin politician voting against a “secular” men’s shelter because it didn’t provide a means to get to the “root cause of homelessness.” Which to him and every other Christian Nationalist is “sin” as they define it. And he believes people who come to a shelter should answer all kinds of invasive questions about their lives and live by WCN moral codes in exchange for a bed and a meal.
Here’s how White Christian Nationalists will use taxpayer-funded religious aid to force women to stay home, have children, and remove all avenues for divorce (even when she and her children are being abused:)
Here’s a breakdown of how they plan to bring back USAID as a White Christian Nationalist international missionary program funded by the US taxpayer. Which is YOU and ME, not billionaires and corporations.
And one of my early 2024 favorites. This one is from the pre-Project 2025 state of Texas, but it is a model this Project 2025 government will apply nationwide. It’s about a Christian Nationalist “lust-recovery” program men can choose (and pay for themselves) in lieu of prison time for soliciting prostitutes.
Forced Christian Nationalist religious indoctrination for welfare assistance, access to healthcare, avoidance of jail time, and more was ALWAYS the Project 2025 plan.
Nobody is talking about the SNAP stoppage and the expiration of ACA tax credits as the partial fulfillment of Project 2025’s goal to turn all public assistance into forced religious indoctrination in exchange for help.
NOBODY BUT ME.
But more Americans must understand something about Christian Nationalists:
They believe that SUFFERING brings people to (their) WCN God.
If Americans suddenly don’t have things like food, access to healthcare, a job, or a home, they will know profound SUFFERING.
And in that profound SUFFERING, many may finally be desperate enough to turn to a Christian Nationalist food bank, crisis pregnancy center, Catholic hospital, shelter for the unhoused, addiction clinic, and similar.
Desperate, starving, sick, destitute people who are SUFFERING will do ANYTHING like:
Sign a Christian Nationalist Contract of Conduct promising to follow all directives to the letter in exchange for help and report as required.
Agree to attend church services, chapels, Bible studies, and more in exchange for food/healthcare/housing/childcare/addiction support.
Vow to attend mandatory “counseling” sessions with non-licensed, untrained Christian Nationalists who comb through their lives and choices and force them to live by their interpretations of Biblical principals in exchange for continued support.
Swallow questions and tamp down any pushback that might endanger their eligibility for aid.
Refuse to report sexual assaults, inappropriate sexual advances, and other unacceptable behavior for fear of losing benefits.
Tithe ten percent of their income to WCN religious programs and give sacrificially above that. Some will even work in these programs and donate their pay as part of “laying up treasure in heaven.”
Welcome to the Christian Nationalist version of “welfare assistance” Project 2025 outlined, Americans.
The cessation of SNAP and the expiration of ACA tax credits are just the beginning. Every single taxpayer-funded thing Americans rely on is about to be enshittified with White Christian Nationalist eligibility requirements for access.
When one looks at the millions on social media gleefully celebrating those who will starve and lack healthcare, one can only imagine what they will do to those who come to them for help. Especially if they are the only help available.
Democratic billionaires and donors, it is beyond time to stop playacting being humanitarians and actually fund secular resources for vulnerable Americans. Or you’re going to wake up in a country where everyone without resources is an indoctrinated, card-carrying White Christian Nationalist because they will literally die if they aren’t.
Americans, I have shrieked about the importance of your local communities since the November election. If you have not been coordinating with your fellow community members to identify vulnerable populations, shore up food resources, and strategize to provide healthcare, it is beyond time to start that organizing. Unless you want the local WCN church or taxpayer-funded religious group to be the only option.
I leave you with the story of Jesus feeding the Five Thousand from Matthew 14:14-21 KJV. Which is the opposite of Project 2025 and White Christian Nationalist welfare assistance.
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
He said, Bring them hither to me.
And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
White Christian Nationalists try to parse this story as an example of God’s Divine Providence for those who follow him, but I believe Jesus was demonstrating that every human deserves to eat.
