At a public appearance with Israeli Prime Minister (and war criminal) Benjamin Netanyahu; Donald Trump said the U.S. would take over and rehabilitate the severely war damaged, heavily bombed and shelled, ruins of Gaza. Trump claimed that all expenses would be paid by Wealthy Middle Eastern Oil States and that the over 2 million Palestinians who still live in Gaza would “voluntarily” leave the “hell” of Gaza for “beautiful wonderful” communities that would be provided by and located in Egypt and Jordan. This absurd dreamscape cannot actually take place but perhaps enough of it will take place to further enrich Trump and his Son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump and some gaggle of well-connected Zionists and Trumpian hangers on.
Trump has variously mentioned a list of places he wants to annex or take over, Greenland, the Panama Canal Zone, and Canada. Some analysts think that bringing up these places is a tactic used by Trump to shift attention away from his main efforts, to destroy the regulatory agencies of the U.S. Federal Government and to steal everything that his operatives can get their hands on, most notably the funds used to pay the Social Security and Medicare expenses of average American citizens and residents.
And the question is does Gaza fall into the same category as Greenland, the Panama Canal Zone, and Canada. In fact Gaza is the most likely of the 4 regions to actually get something resembling the fate Trump has decreed for it. This is despite the fact that Gaza is, at this point, entirely an extremely expensive liability that will require billions of dollars worth of clean-up and rehabilitation, not to mention the fact that the 2 million Gazans will have to be forced out violently to go to uncertain fates in the two countries, Egypt and Jordan, that Trump says and perhaps actually thinks will welcome them with open arms, after building “beautiful wonderful” communities for them (with money supplied by Oil State riches). Trump, a failed real estate developer, sincerely thinks he and Jared & Ivanka will grow much richer by building a giant ClubMed type of resort along the shores of Gaza. He, like many New York City developers, sees the people who currently live in Gaza as just a minor impediment, just people who stayed on in their rent-controlled apartments and frustrated the developers profitable schemes. Move'em out any way necessary and get to work building profitable condos and villas, nobody will remember or care what happens to yet another unfortunate bunch of Arabs who got in the way of the Zionists and their allies.
The main thing blocking the completion of this plan is the declining competence of the U.S. Capitalists in carrying out major projects. Maybe they should hire the Chinese to do the work.
