Introduction by larrymotuz: I've frequently spoken out about Military Keynesian driving the U.S. economy. Today I found out:
In the Fourth Quarter of 2023, >total federal spending --that is consumption and investment spending -- TOTALLED $1820.0 billions of dollars.
Of that amount, consumption and investment expenditure AMOUNTED TO $1022.0 -- some 56.2% -- was Military Defense Spending.
The REMAINDER was $798.0 billions of dollars -- some 43.8% was the total federally spent amount for all NON-DEFENSE federal consumption and investment spending in the economy.
MAY I POINT OUT THAT THIS DIVISION OF FEDERAL SPENDING IS ABSURD!!!
