Introduction by dmorista: The ongoing U.S. Proxy War against Russia, that is taking place in Ukraine is only one aspect, and not the biggest or most important one, of the Global Geostrategy being pursued by the U.S. Ruling Class. As Brian Berletic (aka Tony Cartalucci) points out in his recent video discussion posted here as item 1)., “CSIS War Game: US vs China over Taiwan - Provoking War to Preserve US Primacy”; the time frame for the U.S. ruling class to use military force to stop China from replacing the U.S. as the Global Hegemonic Power is short, in fact very short. China’s growing industrial, scientific, and technological capabilities will surpass those of the U.S. sometime in the near to medium term future. Berletic notes that U.S. analysts project that the Chinese will surpass the U.S. in military power at some point, perhaps as early as 2025. And the growth of Chinese power will not stop then, but once the Chinese pull equal to the U.S. strategically they will then pull ahead steadily widening the gap. The most extreme factions of the U.S. ruling class want to attack China, and leave a defeated nation behind, that cannot challenge U.S. Hegemony; and they are willing to risk nuclear war to do so.
Berletic quotes several passages and summarized the findings of a rather lengthy (165 pages) CSIS document entitled The First Battle of the Next War: Wargaming a Chinese Invasion of Taiwan, posted on Jan 9, 2023, and written by Mark F. Cancian, Matthew Cancian & Eric Heginbotham. Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), it is available at <https://csis-website-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/s3fs-public/publication/230109_Cancian_FirstBattle_NextWar.pdf?VersionId=WdEUwJYWIySMPIr3ivhFolxC_gZQuSOQ>. Like other wargames and strategic papers, The First Battle of the Next War: …. forecasts that the U.S. would “win” the confrontation; but that there would be heavy losses of naval vessels and combat aircraft (some papers and games predict the U.S. would lose several of its 11 super nuclear aircraft carriers, plus numerous other craft).
The current Proxy War against Russia, taking place in Ukraine, must be a sobering experience for many of the war-mongers, despite the brave faces and triumphalist posturing we see in the Corporate Controlled Media. The integration of the techniques and the related nature of the struggles and machinations are discussed by Eric Zuesse in his recent article posted here as item 2). “How Evil the U.S. Government Is | The Greanville Post”. That article contains excellent analysis of the ruthlessly used power of the Corporate Controlled Media and its various campaigns to demonize the people in the way of the Imperialist U.S. Rulers agenda and schemes. It also points out that a grand total of only 33,000 people donate 57.16% of all money donated to U.S. political campaigns and that 29.86% of the total political campaign money comes from just 400 people.
Finally, there is an interesting older article, posted here as item 3)., from Storm Clouds Gathering, “The Ukraine Crisis – What You’re Not Being Told”. It shows that the citizen journalists, watchdogs, dissident academics, and other truth tellers have been at work all this time. The article, which is nearly 9 years old, reveals many of the connections between the evil Victoria Nuland (now an Undersecretary of State, and the wife of notorious NeoCon Warmonger Robert Kagan) and other figures in the 2014 fascist Coup in Kiev, and other outrages in Ukraine. To this day we never hear anything about these connections and events in the Corporate Controlled Media and many people, who do not have the time or inclination to dig into these issues, are fooled into thinking that Ukraine is some sort of bastion of democracy and freedom. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Victoria Nuland, one of the main actors behind America's evil foreign policy, and a prominent Neocon, personifies US evil.
On February 23rd, the great geostrategic military analyst Brian Berletic headlined “CSIS War Game: US vs China over Taiwan - Provoking War to Preserve US Primacy,” and he stated, and accurately documented, that though the U.S. Government officially recognizes that Taiwan is a part of China, the U.S. Government war-games against China in eager preparation for the eventuality that Taiwan will (the U.S. regime obviously hopes) declare itself not to be a part of China, and China then invades the breakaway island Taiwan off its coast, and the U.S. Government then invades China in response, in order to assert that Taiwan (by America’s new fiat despite those prior agreements) is not a part of China, and that therefore the U.S. Government’s saying in its signed agreements with China’s Government, that it was part of China, were lying — despite what America had signed with China’s Government.

Of course, China didn’t authorize U.S. troops to be occupying their island of Taiwan. This is an act of war by the U.S. Government, against China’s Government.
The U.S. regime lies routinely to its own subjects (us ‘citizens’, whom its actions display that it despises) and works us up into frenzies of fear and hatred against whatever targeted nation’s leader is the ‘autocrat’ or ‘dictator’ at the given time when the U.S. regime is instructing its media whom to work us up to fear and hate, at that time.
To show how it works, in one of the U.S. Government’s now vassal-nations, here is how this technique had functioned in Ukraine, amongst that nation’s public, prior to and now since, America’s coup against them in February 2014:
The U.S. Government had engaged the Gallup polling organization, both before and after the coup, in order to poll Ukrainians, and especially ones who lived in its Crimean independent republic, regarding their views on U.S., Russia, NATO, and the EU; and, generally, Ukrainians were far more pro-Russia than pro-U.S., NATO, or EU, but this was especially the case in Crimea; so, America’s Government knew that Crimeans would be especially resistant. However, this was not really new information. During 2003-2009, only around 20% of Ukrainians had wanted NATO membership, while around 55% opposed it. In 2010, Gallup found that whereas 17% of Ukrainians considered NATO to mean “protection of your country,” 40% said it’s “a threat to your country.” Ukrainians predominantly saw NATO as an enemy, not a friend. But after Obama’s February 2014 Ukrainian coup, “Ukraine’s NATO membership would get 53.4% of the votes, one third of Ukrainians (33.6%) would oppose it.” However, afterward, the support averaged around 45% — still over twice as high as had been the case prior to the coup.
In other words: what Obama did was generally successful, it grabbed Ukraine, or most of it, and it changed Ukrainians’ minds regarding America and Russia. But only after the subsequent passage of time did the American billionaires’ neoconservative heart become successfully grafted into the Ukrainian nation so as to make Ukraine a viable place to position U.S. nuclear missiles against Moscow (which is the U.S. Government’s goal there). Furthermore: America’s rulers also needed to do some work upon U.S. public opinion. Not until February of 2014 — the time of Obama’s coup — did more than 15% of the American public have a “very unfavorable” view of Russia. (Right before Russia invaded Ukraine, that figure had already risen to 42%. America’s press — and academia or public-policy ‘experts’ — have been very effective at managing public opinion, for the benefit of America’s billionaires.)
Back in 2012, when Obama was running for re-election, against Mitt Romney, that figure was still remaining at 11%, where it had been approximately ever since Gallup had started polling on this question in 1989. So, Obama, and the U.S. Congress, and the news media owners who had sold all of those politicians to the American public, had a lot of work yet to do after Obama’s re-election in 2012. During that political contest, Obama was aware of this fact, and used it to his own advantage against the overtly hyper-anti-Russian candidate, Romney.
A major reason why the American people re-elected U.S. President Barack Obama, instead of electing a new President Romney, was Romney’s having said of Russia, on 26 March 2012,
Russia, this is, without question, our number one geopolitical foe. They fight every cause for the world’s worst actors. … Russia is the — the geopolitical foe.
Not just “a” geopolitical foe, but “the” geopolitical foe.” (Wow! In a world with growing jihadist movements, such as Al Qaeda and ISIS?) The prior month, Gallup had polled, and reported, that 11% figure; so, Romney was jumping the gun a lot on this, maybe because he was more concerned about fundraising than about appealing to voters. He knew he would need lots of money in order to have even a chance against Obama.
It’s an entirely bipartisan technique, because BOTH of America’s two Parties are controlled by their top individual donors, and because some of them are Democrats but others of them are Republicans, and so each of the Parties is obsessively catering to its own billionaires, without whom it couldn’t even POSSIBLY win national elections. 57.16% of the donated political money in the U.S. comes from the richest 1% of the richest 1% — the richest ten-thousandth — of the U.S. population. That’s more than half coming from just this super-rich class. Here’s how that worked out in the 2016 U.S. Presidential ‘election’. The billionaires were absolutely decisive. And ESPECIALLY all billionaires are “neoconservatives,” which means U.S. imperialists, and they especially want to conquer Russia, and they especially want to conquer China, and they want most of all to conquer the whole word eventually. And this is how they do it, and have been doing it: by constantly lying to the public, via their ‘news’-media and social-‘science’ scholars, in law, economics, etc., whom their media hire as their ‘experts’ to propagandize that hatred and that fear, against ‘Saddam’s WMD’, and ‘Putin’s unprovoked invasion’, and ‘China’s unfair trading-practices’, etc. These are lies ‘authenticated’ by their ‘allies’ and ‘experts’.
Like any regime, it thrives, and grows, on hatred. But what deserves to be hated — and despised, and to be replaced — the most, is itself. And their biggest sin is their refusal even to consider that this even might be the case. Their closed-mindedness caps their evilness; and this is what causes them to be perhaps the most dangerous villains who ever existed, in real life, ever, anywhere. Because that’s what they all will have been if they bring on a nuclearized WW III — which they are pushing toward.
That is how evil the U.S. Government today is.

In this video we’re going to provide you with compelling evidence that the crimes against humanity committed in Kiev earlier this year were in fact committed by the new coalition government and that officials in the E.U. and the United States knew full well who committed these crimes and that they are protecting and financially supporting the real criminals.
On February 20th of 2014 the world was shocked by video footage of snipers firing on protesters in Kiev Ukraine. Twenty one people were murdered, and it was widely assumed that President Victor Yanukovich and his supporters were behind the attacks. However a phone conversation between EU foreign policy chief Cathy Ashton and Estonia’s foreign minister Urmas Paet leaked to the public on March 5th reveals that the snipers in were actually from the new coalition government, and that Western diplomats knew this and covered it up.

For some reason the U.S. media didn’t think that little detail was worth covering.
But wait… I thought the opposition were peaceful activists who just wanted a chance to join the European Union.
Well yeah, that’s the official narrative that the U.S. media outlets are peddling, but real story is much more ominous. It turns out that the most powerful and influential contingent in the opposition is a coalition of literal fascists and Neo-Nazis, and they aren’t peaceful. In fact they are extremely brutal.
The most prominent among these groups is an organization called Svoboda. The Svoboda party which traces its roots to the Ukrainian partisan army of World War II, was loosely allied with Nazi Germany. Until 2004, Svoboda had been called the Social-Nationalist Party, a deliberate reference to the National Socialism of the Nazis.
We’re not throwing the term Neo-Nazi around as an empty slur here. The leader of Svoboda, Oleh Tyahnybok, has openly targeted Jews and ethnic Russians in Ukraine for many years. In 2004 he was kicked out of Viktor Yushenko’s government for a speech calling for Ukrainians to fight against a “Muscovite-Jewish mafia”, and in 2005 he signed his name to an open letter to the leadership of Ukraine entitled “Stop the Criminal Activities of Organised Jewry”.
And none of this was a secret. The BBC was already reporting on the danger that Svoboda’s rise posed back in 2012, and the EU passed a resolution that same year condemning Svoboda, as “racist, anti-Semitic and xenophobic”. Yet somehow the U.S. government thought it was appropriate to back these extremists.

Why would the U.S. government work with Neo-Nazis?
Because they thought they could control the situation. They thought they could install their puppets behind the scenes and manipulate the situation in their favor.
This isn’t just speculation. That same Victoria Nulland who met with Svoboda in February was caught in another leaked phone call discussing who would they would put in power.

The mainstream media tried to draw your attention away from the important part of this conversation by focusing on the fact that she used a cuss word when referring to the E.U.
The U.S. government thought they could control this beast. But they were wrong. Svoboda and the Right Sektor are not toys to be played with. These groups are armed, they’re forceful, and they view this crisis as an opportunity to reshape Ukraine in their own image.
Apparently the U.S. government has been a little slow to catch on to the fact that their hand has been exposed. In March a senior U.S. official told Reuters that “Since entering the Ukrainian Parliament in October 2012, the Svoboda leadership has been working to take their party in a more moderate direction and to become a modern, European mainstream political party, The leadership has been much more vigilant about expelling or otherwise punishing individual members who engage in xenophobic behavior or rhetoric.”
So it’s ok to use known Neo-Nazi groups to topple a government as long as their leaders keep their people from saying anything stupid in front of cameras for a few months? The reality of the matter is that as ridiculous as this assertion makes Washington look, they are trapped. They can’t deny that Svoboda and the Right Sektor are running the coalition government when Svoboda holds five senior posts including the deputy prime minister position and the Right Sektor’s Dmytro Yarosh is now the country’s Deputy Secretary of National Security.
But what about that dramatic video “I am a Ukrainian” that went viral as this crisis was unfolding. It was so compelling, so heart wrenching. Yeah, but who made it? Did you notice the link in the description? Awhispertoaroar… who are these people? Oh look, a link in the description. Let’s click it. They have a website and a behind the scenes section. Oh it list the film makers. Who’s this here? Larry Diamond, inspiration and executive producer. He’s also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Endowment for Democracy and an advisor for the U.S. State Department. You know the funny thing about the National Endowment for Regime Change Democracy is that even though they call themselves an NGO they get virtually all of it’s money from the U.S. federal government. You can verify this by downloading their annual financial disclosures. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the NED has been pouring massive amounts of money into Ukraine to “strengthen democracy and civil society”?
That sound nice doesn’t it? Democracy… civil society. Of course by now you’ve realized that when they talk about spreading democracy what they really mean is regime change, and they are willing to work with the most despicable elements when it’s expedient.
It’s exactly the same game they played in Syria. The U.S. government funded known extremists, literal terrorist organizations who have been documented massacring whole towns. They gave them money, they gave them weapons, and even after those extremists used sarin gas on thousands of civilians and got caught by the U.N., Washington still covered for them. Even to this day they are still funding those murderers, they are still training them, and they are still sending them weapons. There’s a word for this kind of activity: state backed terrorism.
But the situation in Ukraine didn’t unfold as planned. The parliament of Crimea, in the South of Ukraine voted to secede, and they are putting the decision up for a public referendum. The U.S. claims that this referendum is “unconstitutional” and says they won’t recognize Crimea’s decision as legitimate regardless of the outcome. So a foreign backed Neo-Nazi coup is constitutional, but a declaration of independence placed to a general vote is not? Seriously? That’s the best you guys can do? Who writes these scripts?
