Introduction:
This is a nearly 10 year old documentary entitled “WHO RULES AMERICA”, produced by the late noted American journalist and dissident Danny Schecter who, sadly, died in 2015 at the age of 72. Schecter was an intrepid journalist who worked mostly in Boston, but who was forced out of the Corporate Controlled Media (CCM) because he would not stay within the limits required to work in those media companies. After leaving the CCM then worked on projects like this one, and even appeared on Press TV. The room for dissent in the American CCM had become so constricted that Schecter felt it was better to appear on Press TV than not at all, (Note that Press TV is controlled by the Iranian Government). There have been numerous developments that have taken place since this documentary was made, but the essential truth and power of the analysis is still very effective. To put this all in perspective, the Occupy Wall Street Movement was still active when Who Rules America was produced. Included are appearances and statements by many guests ranging from Eric Foner, to Chris Hedges, Max Keiser, George Soros, Stanley Aronowitz, David DeGraw, and even a former Congressional Aide and still active Washington D.C. Operative ; who had his image obscured and his voice altered so he could speak frankly. The video is divided into 6 episodes, and they are listed below with their respective names and at what time they begin in the nearly 2 1/2 hour overall video.
