Danny Haiphong carries on an interesting hour and 15 minute interview / discussion with Jill Stein. Stein was the Green Party candidate for President of the U.S. in 2016, and she led the Green Party's requests for recounts of the Presidential votes in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania shortly after Trump was declared the winner. She and Haiphong discuss the cavalier manner in which the U.S. ruling class is risking nuclear war with Russia, she talks about the ways in which the Democratic Party in particular worked to neutralize the political activities and organizing of the Green Party. She notes that the many crises and dilemmas of Capitalism and Empire are growing in severity; and that U.S. Capitalism and its worldwide Empire are in a final stage. She also talks about the campaign to attack her for a variety of supposed transgressions, such as attending a conference on abolishing nuclear weapons in Moscow has led to investigations of her by the Senate Foreign Relations committee. She and Danny discussed the upcoming mid-term elections for a few minutes.
Stein and Haiphong talk from about 2:25 to 1:16:55. After Stein leaves, Haiphong talks for another 40 minutes, during much of that time he reads an article about why the CIA should be abolished that he wrote for the Chinese Newspaper Global Times. His discussion of the article goes from 1:25:10 to 1:37:55. He also spends some time with housekeeping issues for Left Lens.
