Danny Haiphong leads off this 1:42:55 long show on Left Lens with a pretty good discussion of Saudi Arabia's recent decision to lead the move in OPEC to cut production, effectively by 1 million barrels of oil per day. That goes on for about 15 minutes. Then he discusses the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 and some of the hoopla in commemorating the 60^th anniversary of that event, and he notes comparisons between those events and the Ukraine War that is taking place now. He also discussed the negative economic ramifications of the Ukraine War in the U.S. and Western Europe.

Then he discusses the Communist Party of China's (CPC) 5-year meeting and notes some of the accomplishments by the CPC over the last 5 years.  Finally he discusses an article from the Australia Broadcasting Company (ABC), that posits that the “Whiteness” of China's leaders plays a role in events taking place in the rise of China.

There are a couple of times when Haiphong mentions problems with the video quality but that is not evident in the video you see on this youtube, keep in mind that Left Lens is a shoestring operation that goes out as a live-stream with a live-chat.

The outstanding Margaret Kimberly, an editor, writer, and radio show host from The Black Agenda Report, joins the show at 47:41. She discusses some of the same issues, as well as others, with Danny in a 55 minute long conversation. Kimberely does an excellent job of tying together the many disparate events of recent years and the consequences of those machinations by the Capitalist Ruling class on the average working people of the U.S. and other parts of the world. She discusses the extreme dangers from the Ukraine War and the chance that the U.S. ruling class will actually be the ones to use nuclear weapons.

The two of them also discuss the emergence of the current discredited Partisan Hack Supreme Court and how the Democratic Party did nothing to protect the American people from the emergence of this ultra-reactionary institution in the U.S. Government Apparatus. Overall this is a top-notch analysis of the complex reality and the array of forces that function to protect the interests of the Capital, its Oligarchs and Billionaires.
