 Considering the 9-11 Events Twenty One Years Later

The events that occurred on September 11, of 2001 were, if nothing else, a spectacular media incident.  In the 21 years since that day the U.S. ruling class, working primarily through their operatives in the Corporate Controlled Media, the U.S. Government, and most of the “alternative media”, took great pains to support and promote the “Official Story” in the years since the 9-11 events.  The Official Story, of 19 mostly Saudi hijackers, working under the direction of Osama Bin Laden who was living under extremely primitive conditions in Afghanistan, who flew the airliners into the two WTC Towers and the Pentagon; was largely put together and promulgated before the end of that fateful day.  It took a few more days to fully develop the story of the passengers of United Flight 93 fighting the hijackers to take back control of the plane and causing it to crash into the ground. The complete “Official Story” explanation for the collapse of WTC 7 took several years to develop, an effort that included extensive work by the NIST; in which NIST claimed to discover a new way that office fires had caused the building to collapse.

The fact is that the 9-11 events are fading away into the past.  The perpetrators, whomever they were, achieved their aim of tr/aumatizing the U.S. populace.  The U.S. rulers, particularly the Neo-Conservatives who were well placed in a large number of policy making posts in the Pentagon and other governmental policy making positions, used the 9-11 events as the justification for attacking first Afghanistan and then Iraq.

Still it is true that on September 11, 2001, 3 steel frame high rise buildings totally  collapsed in the area of the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan.  The two 110 story towers WTC 1 and WTC 2 were hit by aircraft, and survived, one for about 50 minutes and the other for around an hour and a half.  Then each one collapsed at a speed approximately ⅔ or more that of freefall.  The area where the towers collapsed remained extremely hot, with pockets of molten iron present that workers on the pile at Ground Zero encountered for over 2 months.  The steel beams from the buildings, the majority of them lying in piles of 40 foot long segments, were quickly removed, taken to a couple of junkyards that mixed them with other steel scrap and sold them to China where they were melted and used to make new steel.  A few pieces were saved, but in general the steel was removed as quickly as possible, despite the public protests of professional organizations of forensic and fire protection experts.  Steel scrap prices were at a decade low but the steel was sold and sent to China very expeditiously.

It is worth noting that the damage to the two 110 story towers was in the upper floors.  Below the impact zones the great majority of the buildings were undamaged and continued to operate without problems.  Electricity and ventilation were normal and the management of the World Trade Center urged people to remain in their offices.  Fire fighters who arrived on the upper floors at the impact areas reported that there were some relatively minor fires and the situation looked like it could be managed with standard fire fighting techniques.  A reasonable estimate is that about 1/2 of the jet fuel/kerosene was burned up in the immediate explosion event fireballs when the two planes hit the towers, and certainly more than 1/2 for WTC 1 that was hit by a more glancing blow.  This left the other half, or less, of the jet fuel that started the office furnishing fires.  Those both before too long became relatively cool fires with plenty of black sooty smoke. The kerosene could not be the source of the heat that weakened the structural elements to provide for a near free fall speed collapse event.

The most glaring anomaly was that of WTC-7, a building owned by Lucky Larry Silverstein, who also held the lease for WTCs 1 & 2 in conjunction with Australian shopping center developer Frank Lowy.  WTC-7 was never hit by any aircraft. It did suffer some minor damage from being hit by debris and pieces of steel from WTCs 1 & 2.  WTC-7 had minor fires from office furnishings that burned in a couple of floors at a time, and burned out when the fuel was gone, and moved around somewhat.  Yet WTC-7 collapsed around 5 PM, this has been the most obvious weak point in the Official Story of the day's events.  Just a day ago, on September 16, 2022, reports emerged of another spectacular high rise fire, this one in Changsha, Hunan, China.  There are plenty of videos of this fire available online.  Here is one that was posted at the Free Press Journal. Again this building did not collapse.

The fire in Changsha is probably not  the best example of a major fire, with far more extensive damage and of longer duration than the fires at WTC-7, that did not cause the building to collapse.  It is merely the most recent spectacular steel frame high rise fire.  Below are two graphics showing the major fire that engulfed “the Mandarin Oriental Hotel (MOH) in Beijing on February 9, 2009”.  Again after a massive fire that engulfed the entire building and burned for longer at higher temperatures, the MOH unlike WTC-7, did not collapse.  . 

A few years later on April 3, of 2013, there was a major fire at a high-rise steel frame luxury hotel building in Chechnya.  This fire burned for 29 hours, but once again after a major fire that burned throughout most of that building, it did not collapse.  There is a photo of the fire at the Hotel in Chechnya below.  These are only two of many major steel framed high rise fires that did not result in a building collapse.  The simple fact is that the three buildings that collapsed on September 11, 2001 in New York were a unique and anomalous situation.  They also followed on a long series of fishy events over decades, including the many assassinations of liberal and leftists leaders in the 1960s, the operations of the CIA and FBI, Cointelpro for the FBI and Operation Chaos for the CIA, to destroy resistance to the agenda of the U.S. ruling class.  Predictably the 9-11 events were used as a justification for a new series of horrific wars.  Like many previous events, most particularly the JFK assassination, there were many independent researchers and citizen journalists who quesstioned the official story.  But even though a significant proportion of the U.S. populace (not to mention people who live in foreign countries) do not believe the official story; the damage was done, the events were used to impose police state laws inside the U.S. and to justify a new series of ruinous and disastrous overseas terror campaigns and wars.
