Introduction by dmorista: BreakThrough News is an important leftist voice that consistently addresses important issues that the Corporate Controlled Media ignores or buries. Freedom Side is their weekly Newshow that is posted on Thursdays. The July 28th episode of the show has segments on several issues and is well worth a couple of hours to listen to. I have posted various articles and comments about the struggle of Indigenous People and their allies to try to stop the forcing through of Line 3 by Enbridge Pipeline Company of Edmonton Canada. The show presents a 15 minute segment that looks at the legal status of the struggle now that Enbridge forced their way through pristine wetlands and lakes in Northern Minnesota. Frank Bibeau, Winonas attorney in the trumped up charges against her and other activists who were arrested during the earlier stages of the struggle. Bibeau discusses various aspects of the legal issues and resource issues related to Winona and others being prosecuted. He also discusses changes in the legal strategies the defense counsel are using.
